You’re right in the heart of Jiangbei District, which puts you close to some of Chongqing’s best shopping and dining without the chaos of the absolute city center. The West Ring Road address might sound busy, but you know what? The area has this great energy during the day and settles into something more intimate in the evenings. Getting around from here is actually pretty straightforward, whether you’re heading to the famous hotpot districts or exploring the riverside areas.

The Room Experience

Each room really does feel like someone put thought into the design rather than just ordering furniture from a catalog. The forest theme isn’t overdone — it’s more subtle touches that create this calming atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. The beds are comfortable enough, and the bathrooms are clean with decent water pressure, which honestly matters more than fancy fixtures when you’re dealing with Chongqing’s humidity. Storage space is adequate, and there are enough outlets for all your devices, which is something I always appreciate.

Practical Considerations

What I really like about this place is how it handles the practical stuff without making a big deal about it. The B&B setup means you get more personal attention than at larger hotels — the staff actually remember your face and preferences after a day or two. Parking can be arranged if you’re driving, though most guests rely on public transport from this area anyway.   The decor of the apartment was very nice. The view was good. The bed was really comfortable. It was great to have a washing machine. The owner was very chatty and helpful.

  Très grand logement, spacieux avec tout le nécessaire du quotidien, on s’y sent comme à l’hôtel.
  Très belle vue, localisation excellente à proximité des transports et d’un grand centre commercial
  Accès sécurisé via code sur la porte communiqué par l’hôte via wechat
  
  What could be improved: Difficulté à accéder au logement, pas d’accueil par l’hôte mais qui reste à disposition via Wechat
  Parties communes un peu vétustes.
  Nécessité d’avoir Wechat pour acceder au logement ou un numéro de téléphone chinois (mais plus compliqué pour l’hôte qui ne pas nous check in sans wechat)

  Le propriétaire etait tres reactif pour repondre a mes questions.
  Pour sortir et avoir de l'animation, c'est vraiment la localisation ideale.
  Le rapport qualité/prix par rapport a un hotel du coin est excellent.
  
  What could be improved: Le mode de paiement est exclusivemenent WeChat Pay ou Alipay. C'est un peu compliqué pour les non-chinois. De plus, si weChat pay n'est pas associé a un compte bancaire chinois, il ne sera pas possible de recupere le depot de securité.
  L'assenceur est tres lent.
  J'ai trouvé 3 coquerelles en 2 semaines.

  It was very easy to find and the apartment/rooms were super nice! The view was amazing (honestly no need to pay for a Plattform visit because the rooms windows open to Chongqings skyline). Very fun to stay in the 36th floor of a building for the first time. We didn’t even know how close we were to the city center until we made our way back from a trip to the 好吃街 and the huge mall complex next to it and we found it’s only 10 minutes away! The manager was super nice as well and offered many recommendations on what to do in the city.
  
  What could be improved: Taking the elevator is a bit more time consuming than I imagined and walking the stairs a bit more sketchy (probably because no one thinks to use the stairwell in a 40+ floors building)
