The four-star property sits on Yunhua Road in Beibei District, and honestly, the setting feels almost too good to be true — you’ve got the lush Jinyun Mountain practically in your backyard and Southwest University’s campus energy nearby. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciated after staying at some overly flashy places in Chongqing.

Location & Surroundings

The location really is something special, and I can see why recent guests rated it a perfect 10. You’re in North Hot Spring Street, which means you can literally walk to the famous hot springs — and trust me, after a day of exploring, that’s exactly what you’ll want to do. The university proximity gives the whole area this vibrant, youthful feel during the day, but it settles into peaceful mountain quiet by evening. What I loved most was how easy it was to escape into nature; Jinyun Mountain’s hiking trails are right there, and the air quality up here is noticeably better than downtown Chongqing.

The Room Experience

My room had these floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the mountain views beautifully — honestly, I spent way too much time just sitting there with my morning coffee. The design feels contemporary but warm, with local touches that remind you where you are without being heavy-handed about it. The bed was properly comfortable (not always a given in China), and the bathroom was spacious with good water pressure. I mean, it’s not groundbreaking upscale, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully put together.

Breakfast & Practical Perks

The buffet breakfast surprised me in the best way — there’s a solid mix of Western and Chinese options, and they actually do a decent job with both. The congee was particularly good, and they had fresh fruit that wasn’t just the usual suspects. But here’s what really made my stay smoother: the free parking. If you’re driving in Chongqing (which can be an adventure), having guaranteed parking at your hotel is honestly a huge relief. The staff helped coordinate everything without any fuss, which made the whole experience feel more relaxed.

I can absolutely see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about the mountain setting and hot springs combination that just works for a getaway. The Wuyu Hotel manages to feel like an escape from the city without actually being inconvenient to reach.   间房布置得好畀心机，采光都好唔错，畀人心情愉悦。床品安乐，间房干净卫生，为我休息讲吓嘢喇！咗绝佳嘅环境。早餐小面味道好好味，早餐嘅种类虽然唔系特别多，但每一种都好骨致，可以睇出酒店喺餐饮方面嘅畀心机。最后要夸赞下服务员。佢哋嘅服务真系好正，从治理入伙时嘅热烈周到，到喺酒店内遇到问题时嘅及时解决，都畀我感受到咗宾至如归嘅体验。总嘅嚟讲，呢间酒店无论系房环境、早餐定服务，都好出色，好举荐

  整體環境尚可，靠近公路邊的，隔音玻璃很不錯。
  夜晚的空調是絕對靜音的，好評！
  但是不知道房間哪裡有發出細微噪音，似乎是燒水器附近。
  想加錢換最貴的那一種，依然也不是靠近「內里/裡面」的，或許沒有了吧？
  大廳的工作人員非常負責和敬業，還帶我去參觀圖片中的房間（窗戶邊有點出入，能夠理解）。
